What is PRP and the Vampire Facelift? 
PRP injections rely on a technique both simple and safe, using the regenerative healing properties of platelets. Platelets have the ability to locally release growth factors or small molecules that act as messengers to initiate the process of skin regeneration. A small sample of blood is collected to isolate your platelets in preparation for platelet rich plasma injection. Prepared from your own blood, the risk of rejection or allergic reactions is minimized.

How does the procedure work?
Our Monaco nurses will collect your blood and isolate your platelets. Combining microneedling (also known as collagen induction therapy), we inject and apply your platelets topically into the skin to promote tighter and more youthful skin. The microneedling allows us to penetrate your platelets at a rate 200 times greater into the skin, while also promoting the anti-aging cascade of collagen and elastin production. PRP also helps with superficial pigmentation, fine lines, pore sizes and overall texture and tone. PRP encourages exfoliation of the skin to fade away unwanted facial blemishes.

Who is a good candidate?
This procedure is ideal for clients looking to diminish the look of fine lines and deep wrinkles, improve overall texture and tone of the skin, minimize pore sizes, treat superficial hyperpigmentation, treat dark under eye circles, scars and hair loss. In addition, PRP injections can help the speed of healing following a laser or chemical peel.

When will I see results and when can I return to everyday activities?
Results can be seen within 7 days and improvements in the skin will continue to develope over the next three months with each session. It is recommended to do at least three sessions for best results. You can typically return to everyday activities within 2-3 days.
