Contour & Soft Blush Shading: for that ‘just bitten’ youthful look, a softly sheer blush of colour will create a natural looking fullness to your mouth. This style of lip tattoo is a great choice for the ‘au naturale’ girl who wants a subtle enhancement of her natural lip colour.
Full Lip Tint: colour is applied across the entire lip area, enhancing your mouth, correcting asymmetries and making it shapelier. This lip tattoo procedure closely imitates the appearance of a full lipstick application for a more glamorous look.

How does the Procedure work?
Your Monaco Permanent Makeup Artist will help you decide on the desired look you wish to achieve. From there, your lips will be numbed with a topical numbing cream. Once you are fully numbed, the pigment will be deposited to the lip with an electric fine tip pen into the epidermal skin layer.

When will I see results and when can I return to everyday activities?
Immediately, you will notice your lips appear a bit more swollen and much darker in the pigment colour choice. Give your lips 7-10 days to see the colour as they heal and lighten to the colour chosen. The lips will feel very tight, dry, and tingly for the first few days. The lips will initially appear darker in pigment and swollen, but this will gradually decrease. You will see close to the healed colour on day 10, and the true natural healed colour emerges at week 4. In rare cases, such as covering or correcting previous permanent makeup or sunspots, vitiligo may need a touch up. This would be something discussed at your consultation.
You can expect only 10-20% of fading each year depending on the method of implantation, the skill of the artist, skin condition and lifestyle of the client. A colour boost is recommended every 1 ½ to 2 years to refresh the colour or update the shape to your client’s desires.
