Lip and Facial Augmentation with Dermal Fillers

What are Dermal Fillers? 
Monaco uses Revanesse®, Radiesse and Teosyal dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a natural component of your skin. Hyaluronic acid binds water within the skin helping skin to retain softness, moisture and repair damage. As such these fillers are a great choice for results that look and feel natural. Monaco also uses Radiesse, a calcium-based dermal filler that assists with sculpting the cheekbones, jawline and hands.

How does the Procedure work?
During your treatment session, a Monaco Cosmetic Nurse Injector will start with a consultation to determine the best product to use for the effect you are trying to achieve. A local anesthetic is administered followed by the use of a very fine needle to strategically inject the product in order to control volume. Injections can be administered gradually over a series of appointments until the desired result is achieved. Each treatment takes approximately 30-45 minutes. 

Who is a good candidate? 
A good candidate for dermal fillers can be anyone in their 20’s and older! Dermal filler is great for anyone wanting to restore volume, correct asymmetry, and regain balance in the face. Areas of treatment that are ideal, include the under eyes, fine lines, cheeks, jawline, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lips, vertical lip lines, and temples. When will I see results and when can I return to everyday activities?
Results are usually seen immediate following your appointment. Swelling and bruising may appear but will subside within 3-5 days. Depending on the area being treated, dermal fillers can last anywhere between 6-12 months. No downtime is required, therefore everyday activities can be resumed immediately.
